David, I ran across your Story of the Boat race in the Bahamas by a Google Search on Nonsuch Boats. My wife Vickie and I now own "Tranquility", and she is Moored in Port Aransas, Texas. It was great to read about where she has been, and hope to take her many more exciting places.

Liked your article and photos on the Aerojet site. My guess is the "mystery mound" is a dump, judging from the photo. I don't know about the "vent pipes". Many old dumps produced combustible gas, but few were vented to reduce potential for explosion. Maybe they realized unplanned explosions where they mixed propellant probably was not cool ?

Hey David, didn't realize you'd moved to St. Augustine. My ex came from there. Great town. What a secret in the Everglades. Good story with good research. For general publication I'd down play some of the technical stuff, but I'm not a space nut. Thanks for news of Nat. Keep in touch and let's both keep writing.

You are so talented and I can imagine your daughter, the musical theater major, is, too. Congrats.
There's so much great content on your blog. Chas Darwin and his cousin... too funny.
Thanks for staying in touch.
